Keith Thompson is the illustrator of the Leviathan series. He has also illustrated other books, as well as drawn illustrations and concept art for video games, films, magazines and television.
Scott Westerfeld chose him to illustrate the series after finding his art online. According to an interview, he is more sympathetic to Clanker technology than Darwinist technology, and Deryn is his favorite character to draw.[1]
Keith Thompson lives in Canada.
